This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to visitors from the EU, the rights it provides apply as well.

2. Cookies and audience measurement

This website sets no cookies and stores no information in your browser. It uses no tracking or marketing tools. We therefore do not ask for consent and show no cookie banner.

To see how often the website is visited, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views, country, device type and the referring page – without cookies, without profiles across websites and without us being able to identify you. A visit is grouped only by a check value derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours.

Fonts are not loaded from third-party servers, and no social media plugins are embedded.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit it, Vercel processes technically necessary data to deliver the pages and protect them against misuse: IP address, date and time, requested address, referring page and information about your browser and device. This data is not combined with other data and is kept only as long as operation and security require.

Vercel may process data in the USA. Vercel is certified under the Data Privacy Framework. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

4. Videos

The videos are delivered by api.video (OVHcloud OCT1, Roubaix, France) and loaded directly from there into your browser. api.video receives your IP address and technical details of the request. We embed the video files without the api.video player and without analysing viewing behaviour. According to api.video, the data is processed in data centres in France (api.video privacy policy).

5. Contact by email

When you write to us, we process your details to answer your request. Our email runs on Microsoft 365 and is checked for spam and malware by a service provider beforehand. We keep messages as long as needed to handle your request or as required by law.

6. Links to other websites

Links to Google Maps, social networks (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and the websites of the group companies open in a new tab. Data is only sent to the respective provider once you click, and its privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights

You can ask at any time what personal data we process about you, request its correction or deletion, object to its processing and, where applicable, request that your data be handed over or transferred. Write to sayhi@thisisunik.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with the data protection authority in your country.

8. Data security

The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The version published on this page applies.
